CHECKLIST
Audio post-production for Checklist, an independent feature film by Mareld Projects' Chantale Fitzé & Nikhil Acharya, filmed entirely in Gothenburg, Sweden.
I worked with Footstep Film & Media's Danne Pedersen, as well as New York based score composer James Wright Glasgow, to edit the audio and soundtrack for the film.
HAND-DRAWN
ANIMATION
FRAME-BY-FRAME ILLUSTRATION
I enjoy producing hand-drawn illustrated animations, using a traditional light-box method, layering each new image over the previous and tracing, making minor changes to each new frame to generate cartoon animation when placed in a sequence. An enjoyable (but long) process, with far less computer screen-time required in the production process.
IL MOSTRO DELL'OPERA
LIVE-SCREENING AT THE BARBICAN
A collaborative project working alongside the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and Cineteca di Bologna, for the restoration of rare footage of Renato Polselli's 1964 gothic drama Il Mostro Dell'Opera. My role was the transcription of the muffled Italian dialogue and its translation into English for soft-title projection for the live-screening at The Barbican, which concluded with a talk by a musicologist and historian.
